In here we list open/closed software issues reported by the users:




OPEN issues:
Some users may encounter issues to UNZIP the files. All the software has been zipped by using StuffIt on a MAC OSX to avoid virus issues. If you have any issues e.g. by using WinZip, download for free from www.stuffit.com

    Open issues:
    1. 2020-01-29 - z/OS 2.4 RA/7 V3.x - RSL AbendB78-5C - ’A program attempted to obtain user key (8-F) storage from a CSA subpool, and ALLOWUSERKEYCSA(NO) was specified in a DIAGxx PARMLIB member.’’ Currently testing fix.



    CLOSED issues:
    1. 2017-12-15 - IFASMFDP - the RA/7 or RA2002 SMF exits used must be AC=1 as original shipped or you will get an S684 Abend. This ABEND happens in IRRADU00/86 as of z/OS 2.x. - Currently in RA/7 ONLINE only you must use the IBM IRRADU00/86 exits from e.g. z/OS 1.13 or earlier as the ISPF tool will fail with a S684 regardless due to IBMs exits.
    2. 2017-11-09 - IFASMFDP - "IFA016I ERROR DETECTED IN USER EXIT IRRADU00. EXIT BYPASSED." - can cause ABEND S0C4 in RA/2-RA/7 - Check retain of IBM for PTF/APAR - specify e.g. REGION=0M
    3. 2017-07-10 - delete - SMF issue under RA/7
    4. 2017-03-27 - AMA120I RA4$BR13 NO IDR SPACE - Use PARM=IGNIDRFULL for the program AMASPZAP
    5. 2017-02-22 - RA/7 - Abend 684 will occur if RA/7 LINKLIB is NOT APF defined and RA/7 - RA2002 modules not defined in SMFPRMxx
    6. 2015-12-09 - RA/7 DCB for IRRADU00 flat files: Utilize DCB=(RECFM=VB,LRECL=12288,BLKSIZE=27998). LRECL has been changed by IBM.
    7. 2014-11-19 - RA2002 ABEND S0C4 - ISPF - Option 10/11 main menu - HFS UID/GID display
    8. 2013-05-13 - Abend S047 Module DEC$GETS (check IBM z/OS 01.11.00 with toleration PTFs for zOS1.13)
    1. 2011-03-21 - RA/2 all versions up to 2.9.x - VSAM cluster do not get listed/deleted Option 4.10
    2. 2010-11-08 - MTI$CAT1 fails with an abend S0C4 (catalog vs RACF verification)
    3. 2010-11-01 - Support for SMF log-stream files under RA/2 option 40
    4. 2010-10-21 - SYNCSORT User Abend U0016 - Batch jobs under RA/2 and RA2002
    5. 2010-09-06 - Abend S0C4 due to bad catalog entries - DEB$XV20/30
    6. 2010-07-07 - Potential SMFPRMxx changes due to new IBM PTF due to IFASMFDP or IFASMFDL
    7. 2010-07-05 - RA/7 Z/OS 1.9 - 1.11 - Abend S338
    8. 2010-07-05 - RA/7 Z/OS 1.11 - IRRADU00 LRECL changed from 8192 to 12288
    9. 2010-06-30 - DSAB issue with z/OS 1.11. Option 22(BELL) of RA2 will not show allocation
    10. 2010-04-04 - fixed filter issues for hex values in RA2002.V3R7
    11. 2010-03-10 - RA4$CD33 enhancement to filter gen. resource classes and resource names
    12. 2010-03-09 - RA4$CD33 file allocation issue for //SORTIN
    13. 2009-01-01 - SYS1.Brodcast in templates(ISPSLIB) must be changed manually
    14. 2009-01-01 - File in-use problem under ISPF for RA2, RA2002, RA7
    15. 2000-01-01 - Abend B37 - generating large amount of output under ISPF / IKJEFR01
    16. 2000-01-01 - Abend S047 - authorization problems
    17. 2000-01-01 - Abend U111 or U888 - authorization problems
